Sixth-grader Yuriy Glukhov earned over 47,500 Stickers to become the 2010-2011 First In Math® Top Player in the Nation, All Grades, outperforming more than one million students. A dedicated student at Greenview Upper Elementary in Ohio, Yuriy thrives on the challenge First In Math provides. His parents, teachers, and classmates celebrated as he received the FIM All Star Award, a gold medal, a 24® Game hat, and the Grand Prize—an Apple® iTouch.

For the second straight year, C.W. Dillard ES teacher Matt Morse (with son, Grant) was the #1 FIM Team Leader Player in the nation. He earned more than 53,000 stickers. Says Morse, "The challenge that FIM offers sharpens the brain. I have become better in math because of FIM, and if it is helping me, I know students are increasing their skills as well.

Dr. Lola J. May (1923-2007) was a noted mathematics educator, consultant, author and producer of audio-visual materials. A pioneer in mathematics education and an early proponent of the new math educational process, May was beloved by her students, and became a household name among mathematics educators.
